Useful tips when working with links

If you have created links in your original PDF prior to importing it to FlippingBook Publisher then all the links will be extracted and made clickable inside the publication (not applicable to the clickable buttons and similar objects) If you want to remove the link, simply select it in the Content Editor window and press the Delete key. The Content Editor can also be opened by clicking on Edit in the menu bar and then choosing Edit Content...

Links can refer to webpages, such as https://flippingbook. com. But did you know that you can also use mailto:, callto:, geo:, tel:, sms: and relative (./index.html) links?

The 'target' determines how your link will be opened. 'Blank' opens the URL in a new browser tab. 'Top', 'Self' and 'Parent' open your link in the current tab. There are however some differences if you use frames. In that case ◆ Top opens the link in the main tab that you are currently using ◆ Self opens the link in the current frame ◆ Parent opens the link in the parent frame of the current frame (if you use frames within frames).
