Disabling search engine indexing for your publication

If you don't want your publication to be indexed and shown in search engine results, you can turn off this feature before uploading it: for FlippingBook Cloud ( ) and self-hosting (Local folder option ( ) and FTP/SFTP upload ( ). If you have previously uploaded the book to Cloud in version released after 2.9, it will be needed to update its Access settings. We describe the whole process in our Help Center article. Worth noting that the password protection and Google searchability option are mutually exclusive, so if you've enabled a password for your book, it won't be searchable and vice versa. It's also possible to set up the default searchability settings for your Cloud/self-hosted in Edit - > Preferences menu in FlippingBook Publisher. Very important Please note that disabling "Searchable on Google" option does not immediately remove the results. Google will only remove it from the result when it re-indexes your publication later. This can take up to several weeks or even months
