Domain restriction for publications
In the Business edition of FlippingBook Publisher, you can restrict the domains on which your publications can be shown. This means that: ◆ If you upload the publication files to a server, then the direct link to it will only work if this server is listed in the 'restricted domains' ◆ If you (or someone else) tries to embed a publication, then it will only show up if the page where you want to embed the publication into is on a domain that is listed in the 'restricted domains' This way you can protect publications that are embedded in pages that are only accessible to authorized users. In this case, you want the publication to work ONLY on pages on your site where you have embedded it, but NOT when the direct link to the publication is used. You can manage the Domain Restriction settings for self-hosted publications in Upload Publication dialogue window (and in FlippingBook Cloud Manager for Cloud-hosted publications). You can also specify default restriction in the Edit -> Preferences menu. Otherwise the viewer will get a message "The publication cannot be displayed due to restrictions".
